Imagine a full on four-piece rock band, guitarist replete in skin-tight flairs and blue feather boa, then throw in a skin-head didjeridoo player, a playroom full of percussion options and a set of congas and you'll get AOA. These guys don't rock - they jam, full tilt.

Ethereal percussive accents threaded over a hard driving almost techno drum track forms the base of most of their tracks, with the ocassional jazz-like groove on either trad or ethnic drums thrown in as the mood dictates. AOA has already earned a faithful Japanese following. The Field of Heaven was almost maxed and front of stage held a dense huddle of dancers.

AOA are definitely a band to watch.
