Panorama Steel Orchestra Greet the Sun

Fujirock is often full of happy accidents.Sure, there are bands you drop everything to see, but some of my best times at the fest are when I stumble on something great and unexpected. For me, this year's serendipity award goes to Panorama Steel Orchestra, a 25-plus member troupe playing covers on Caribbean steel drums.

What a perfect way to start a sunny Saturday but hearing a tropical version of classics like "Somewhere Over the Rainbow" and the Jackson 5's "I Want You Back"? (I've posted video on http://blog.hyptyo.com and on Youtube) Great stuff, and the Field of Heaven crowd was lapping it up.
