The Godfather Woodstock

Chill out and watch some teev

A nice touch, showing a DVD of Woodstock at Fuji Rock. Here's a shot of Joe Cocker going nuts, and in a good imitation of John Belushi imitating Joe Cocker.

I love seeing all those bearded guys running around building stuff. So hopeful, they were going to change the world. I guess they did a little. Maybe they did so much that we don't even notice it now. It's amazing how much that music and time is still a part of the culture. Do all festivals now aspire to be Woodstock (except with paying customers)?

Anyway, it's really quite nice to just set for a spell and watch the wheel continue to turn turn turn.
