Okay, someone listened and this year there seems to be a plethora of Mexican food stalls. El Taco Supremo!!!
Our intrepid food sleuth, Dom, just needed a little taco fix so eyed up this place (we all did): Tacos Fire down near the end of the Oasis area.
The main reason? These kick ass Hendrix-inspired posters (in Japanese and English for your Fuji-Mex pleasure).
That, and the fact that they offer tacos and...uhh, TACOS - chicken, beef, prawn and breakfast!
Dom went for the ebi (prawn) taco for a measly 500 yen. Apparently, it was 500 yen of saucy ebi gaucomole goodness (they call it "Ebi Mayo" on the menu, but don't let the name fool you - it's more guac than Kewpie).
The verdict?
Says Dom, "500 well spent - now let me eat."
