Princess Superstar
As soon as Underworld finished their remarkable set, concert-goers were treated to another sort of spectacle: Princess Superstar. She was a veritable one-woman-show, adorned in a resplendent feather headdress, and just enough CDs and singalong chants to make the crowd happy.
She definitely brought it, doing everything from singing choruses and beat-boxing, to stepping behind the DJ table and spinning CDs and live mixing. Curiously, the only person who shared the stage with her was a guy filming with a cheap little camera. He might have had the dignity to surrender and give Princess Superstar the whole stage, like a queen deserves.
Sadly, the Red Marquee was half full for the bopping set. Many no doubt were nearby in the Oasis Area, getting their last chance to eat something before heading back to the tents. Photos by Yusuke Kitamura
