Trave-Wrappin'
The first packed house of the weekend was Friday night at the Crystal Palace, featuring the local band Trave-Wrappin'. More people turned out for this highly popular local group than Seasick Steve, which was a big surprise. However, after listening to this group swing, groove, and bebop, there was definitely a good reason for this tent to be packed.
After ripping through rockabilly and swing, the set got even better when they brought out local vocalist, who despite her diminutive size, definitely has a set of pipes. She definitely rocked it out, making this one of the better performances on Friday. And, by the way, there was a long line to get into this show! Photos by Suguta
