Damn, I needed that.
With fatigue taking its toll late Sunday night, Yolz In The Sky’s spastic rock gave me a much-needed lift to power through to the official 5 a.m. close of Fuji Rock. I’ve stuck around to the end of the three previous fests I’ve attended, but was having some serious doubts about whether I would make it this time.
Wallking over to the Rookie-a-Go-Go stage, I was convinced by the high-pitched squealed vocals I could hear that Yolz In The Sky’s vocalist was a gal. Turns out I was really wrong and the dude just has a thing for Melt Banana. No complaints here. Yolz’s were a solid choice to close out Rookie-a-Go-Go.
