They aren't all here yet, though we bumped into Midnight Juggernauts stopping for katsu don and soba at the rest stop on the Kenatsu Expressway. So our bets for the main surprise guests at tonight's pre-party matsuri are MJ and Rodrigo y Gabriela.
The Green Stage is the biggest stage at Fuji Rock and from 11 a.m. tomorrow RodGab will kick things off for the slowly teeming masses. This is the only time you will see it empty. Until late Sunday night.
There will eventually be pile of PET bottles here in the shape of Mt. Fuji that the good volunteers of NGO ASEED JAPAN will recycle.
And there are sharks everywhere, not just scalping tickets near the gates.
